Our removal liquid is neither a medicine, nor medical product or a consumer product, but according to § 4 par. 1 no. 3 LFGB it is considered an equivalent to cosmetical products. The applicable provisions regarding security are §§ 26 ff LFGB. This assessment is meanwhile shared by authorities and ministries of several European countries.
Since May 2010 we have already used at Skinial a removal liquid based on lactic acid, a substance that also appears, is produced and disintegrated in the human metabolism. Long before we have used it, it has been successfully used by other users for tattoo removal. The liquid is manufactured by a certified pharmaceutical company according to our recipe and bottled in an sterile environment in an ampoule.
We currently already meet the high standards of hygiene that shall be introduced in future for your safety all over the EU . Although the engraving of tattoos has a long tradition and almost a cultural status, it shall be progressively regulated.
Our studios take advantage from our own department for research and development, where medical doctors and pharmacists work for the development of this rather new field of activity (tattoo removal). Our researchers develop and test new methods and products for effectiveness and tolerance.
We demand to offer the best and most hygienical treatment. Our employers and partners participate continuously in basic and advanced trainings, in order to be up to date. We concentrate on the newest research results as well as on the hardest training requirements that currently exist at a European level. These are those of the Austrian Supervision of Trade (Regulation of the Federal Ministry for Economy and Labour regarding the condition of access for the regulated trade of cosmetics (beauty care) Federal Official Gazette (BGBt. ll) No. 139/2003, idF: Federal Official Gazette (BGBt. ll) No.399/2008). Based on the freedom of trade, in Germany, there are no such concrete regulations.
You should know that:
1. Our removal liquid removes every tattoo ink of the treated area usually already after a single treatment.
2. Lactic acid irritates the skin and it mustn't be applied by untrained personnel. The liquid must not come into contact with clothes as well as to reach the eyes or mucous membranes. Should this happen please rinse with plenty of water. Should further discomforts appear, please contact the doctor immediately.
3. For each case a treatment we recommend a tolerance test, in order to be able to identify possible allergic reactions of the body. Yet we know of very few cases of allergic reactions.
4. Should it, despite the most careful manufacturing and use as well as the comprehensive training of our staff, come to complaints, please contact trustfully dr. med. Cato Lattacher at info@Skinial.com by rendering the exact conditions of occurence. We shall go into the matter of your message immediately.
