FAQ's - Frequently Asked Questions

How does such a treatment take place ?

You call the closest Centre, get an appointment and go there for treatment without having drunk alcohol and without having taken medicine.  At first there shall be a detailed couseling discussion as well as a tolerance test, to be sure that you have no allergic reactions (extremely rare). Your next visit can then be for the actual treatment.

Is the treatment painful ?

The treatment is not more painful than the tattooing itself.

Does my skin look afterwards as it did before?

Every dermatologist can confirm that EVERY injury of the skin (tattoo, small wound, laser treatment, ...) leaves a scar. Most of  them are yet small or superficial, so that they can not be seen by the naked eye. As every skin reacts differently to injuries, one can only say, that usually no visible scars remain. Yet, the careful post treatment care resp. your type of skin are decisive. Some of you have a scar even after a cat scratch . Others with skin like parchment after each and every scratch, and in the case of other even greater injuries leave no marks. Should your skin leave no scars after smaller wounds, then it is very likely that our removal method shall leave no visible scars either. Yet, the human skin is very complex and there are numerous factors. This is why one can not guarantee the result as little as a doctor can.

What is the cost of a treatment ?

A session costs 200 euro to 250 euro and a tolerance test costs 70 euro. Usually you shall pay in cash and you always get a receipt. The dimensions of a tattoo decides the number of necessary treatment sessions. Small tattoos can be removed within  2 - 3 sessions.

Can I continue a treatment in another studio ?

Yes, no problem. We all work after the same method wherever you undergo a treatment even if it is in another country.

How long do I have to wait from treatment to treatment ?

The skin has to recover after the scab falls off (after ca 2 weeks) for at least another 6 weeks. Sometimes it takes more sometimes less. It depends on the healing capacity of your own body. The break refferrs only to those treatments that are done directly over the last treatment or directly next to it.  Should there be a distance of at least 10 mm, the treatment of especially big tattoos can occur also at smaller intervals.

How long do the treated area stay reddish?

This differs also from one person to another. Some have in 3 weeks already a completely normal skin. With others it can take very long, sometimes even several months. In extreme cases it can take up to 12 moths until the treated areas have adapted again completely to the environment. To whom wounds normally need more time to heal, it shall take longer here as well.  This depends not on our method but on the particularities of your skin.

Can side effects be excluded entirely ?
